Wedoura is live: designing trust both ways

Wedoura is live. A two-sided wedding marketplace connecting couples with verified vendors, running across a vendor app, a couple-facing app, and a public site, all one system underneath. I designed it solo, end-to-end. Vendor onboarding and trust verification on one side, couple discovery and progressive onboarding on the other, both sitting on the same underlying platform instead of separate tools stitched together after the fact. The real problem was never a shortage of vendors or couples. It was trust breaking down in both directions at once. Vendors were ignoring enquiries because they could not tell a serious couple from a casual browser. Couples were losing confidence in vendors who stopped replying. Left alone, Wedoura was heading toward becoming just another directory, traffic without trust, and eventually neither. Tiered vendor verification let vendors without formal business registration in through a portfolio path instead of a documents-only gate. Progressive onboarding asked couples for almost nothing until they had already seen real value, starting with something as low-friction as a wedding date instead of a full profile upfront. It is live now, with the vendor app, the couple app, and the public site all running on the same underlying system rather than three disconnected pieces pretending to be one product.
